We are thrilled to start the year with our 2025 Internal Kickoff Meeting, a day fully dedicated to reflection, growth, and collaboration as we move forward toward new milestones. Moreover, this meeting provided an invaluable opportunity for us to effectively align on goals and strategies for the year ahead. In addition to this, it served as a platform for open communication, allowing us to address key objectives and ensure that every department is aligned with the company’s vision. As a result, we now have a clear path forward, one that will guide our efforts and strengthen our teamwork as we work toward achieving our ambitious goals.
Our CEO, Didier Fohlen, then presented our vision for 2025 and beyond. During this session, he focused on the strategic allocation of resources for exploration activities across our two key projects, Sokdee and Vangma. In addition, we discussed plans to expand community projects and secure new investments and partnerships to ensure the long-term success of our initiatives. Moreover, Didier reviewed our investor engagement efforts in 2024 and introduced strategies for attracting high-net-worth investors in the upcoming year. As a result, these discussions not only solidified our commitment to growth but also reinforced our focus on expanding both our exploration efforts and investor base. Ultimately, Didier emphasized that these steps are crucial for achieving our goals and sustaining our momentum moving forward.
In the afternoon, we heard from several department managers, each providing valuable insights into their respective areas. To begin with, CFO Edwin Lou provided a comprehensive overview of our 2024 financial performance, highlighting both achievements and areas for growth. Following this, he outlined key investments planned for 2025, focusing on strategic financial decisions that will drive our company forward. Specifically, these include crucial investments in exploration, corporate activities, and sustainability initiatives. Moreover, he emphasized how these investments will strengthen our long-term growth and reinforce our commitment to responsible business practices.
Following this, Vilayphone Thammavongsa shared important updates from the Community Relations team, focusing on key achievements and ongoing initiatives. Notably, she highlighted our social responsibility projects in the Hinherb district, which have made a significant impact on the local community. In addition, we discussed plans to expand these efforts further in 2025, ensuring that our commitment to social responsibility continues to grow. Furthermore, we explored ways to enhance community engagement and create sustainable, long-term benefits.
Chief Geologist Paul Burrell and Senior Geologist Manopat Sripo then discussed the significant milestones we achieved in exploration throughout 2024. In particular, they highlighted key discoveries and advancements that have shaped our progress. Additionally, they shared our exciting goals for 2025, which not only include drilling all our targets but also expanding the exploration team to meet our ambitious work program. Moreover, they emphasized the importance of these efforts in driving our long-term success and enhancing our mineral exploration capabilities.
Lastly, Communication Officer Leian Mae Dultra rounded out the departmental updates by providing insights into our communication initiatives. She specifically shared our plans to elevate our messaging, brand-building efforts, and overall communication strategies in the coming year. Moreover, she emphasized the importance of collaborating closely with the community relations team to ensure that our outreach remains effective and aligned with our company’s vision. In addition, she highlighted key approaches to strengthening stakeholder engagement and enhancing our corporate presence.
