EXPLORATION TEAM
INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR
Dr Lipson is a consulting geologist & previously Chief Geologist for Gold Field Ltd Denver office, with +40 years of global exploration and mine experience. He combines “hands-on” field work with desktop studies, for value adding. He unlocks hidden resources by interpreting copious amounts of data, particularly where complex structural geology is involved. He is believer in coaching and leading the next generation. Rael has assessed geological potential of Au & Cu-Au deposits around the world, from greenfields to producing mines, for JV or acquisition opportunities. Early on he worked for Phelps Dodge in South Africa and the USA. Since leaving Gold Fields in 2013, Rael started a consulting company (RDLGEO Consulting, Inc.) and serves on the board of Mako Mining Corp. He is also a technical advisor to 2 other companies and teaches a graduate course on Exploration Targeting at Colorado School of Mines.
CHIEF GEOLOGIST
Paul is an Australian expatriate geologist with more than 35 years of continuous experience in mineral exploration project generation and management, in Australia, South America, and Southeast Asia. Paul’s commodity experience includes platinum group metals, gold, base metals, and industrial minerals. Paul is a Registered Professional Geoscientist (RPGeo) with the Australian Institute of Geoscientists and is a Competent Person for precious and base metals in deposit types including porphyry/epithermal and sediment-hosted. Paul has worked in Laos since 2011, initially managing district exploration for MMG Limited at Sepon Mine. Since 2017, Paul has been consulting for various clients in Laos. He is a co-founder of Annamite and was instrumental in recognizing the potential of the Namthom Cu-Au porphyry system.
SENIOR GEOLOGIST
With over 13 years of experience spanning continents, Manopat Sripo has established a remarkable career in mineral exploration across Thailand, Lao PDR, Tanzania, Mozambique, Mali, Guinea, and Zambia. Currently serving as a Senior Exploration Geologist at Annamite Resources, Manopat brings deep expertise in Magmatic Ni-PGE deposits, Orogenic gold, Porphyry-related copper-gold, and Carlin-style gold systems.
Manopat’s technical skills include mastery of GPS systems, ioGas, and MapInfo & Discover3D, enabling the precise planning and execution of exploration initiatives. His dedication to field programs—ranging from soil sampling, mapping, and trenching to supervising scout drilling campaigns—reflects his commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
Through his roles at Lane Xang Minerals, Tongkah Harbour, and Santana Minerals, among others, Manopat has honed his ability to manage complex projects, foster team growth, and drive technical innovation in diverse geological settings. His dedication to seeing concepts through to completion underscores his invaluable contribution to Annamite Resources’ exploration success.
