Annamite Resources has maintained a continuous presence in Laos since the company’s inception in mid 2019, where it has continued to leverage its local knowledge, expertise and network. The excellent exploration potential of Laos, commodity price forecasts and availability of capital are now all favorable for Annamite to bring our discovery to the development stage.
The 185 sq.km of prospective ground controlled by Annamite falls within an exploration gap along the Loei Belt, between known deposits and mines to the north in Laos and to the south in Thailand. This combined block hosts nine individual targets over a strike length of 23 km including a nine-kilometre-long porphyry trend comprising three major Cu-Au-Mo anomalous centres in Sokdee (Mouk, Namthom (with peripheral veins) and the northern part of Boundary) and the newly discovered huge Flank Cu-Mo system in Vangma. Vangma also hosts several other emerging targets including the large MilkyWay Cu-Zn anomaly, Vangma West, Star and the vein-hosted Buffalo Creek gold target.
Both Sokdee and Vangma are located close to the national road and rail network about 100km NNW of Vientiane. Hydro power is close by and water is abundant. We therefore expect development and production to be low cost in comparison to similar deposits elsewhere.
It positions Annamite in the discovery phase, showing excellent evidence for not only shallow gold and base metals, but also much larger copper-gold-molybdenum porphyries.
_____________
Identified three Cu-Au-Mo porphyry-like centers with peripheral high-grade Au-Cu-Ag-Zn vein-hosted targets.
Annamite holds 73% of the Sokdee tenement comprising 37 sq.km of exploration and feasibility licenses valid through mid-2026. The property is host to copper-gold-molybdenum porphyry systems and adjacent high-grade gold-copper-silver-zinc peripheral veins.
_____________
Identified one Cu-large Mo porphyry-like center plus three additional Au-Cu-Mo-Zn targets and a vein-hosted gold zone
Annamite negotiated an earn-in agreement during 2024 on Vangma and anticipate holding 51% the JV company by the end of 2025. The tenement covers 148 sq.km lying immediately south of Sokdee along the continuation of the mineral belt first discovered on Sokdee. The exploration license is valid until end 2026.
